SEO Assistant

We are hiring an SEO Assistant to join our growing UK-based SEO agency, working exclusively with estate agents and real estate businesses.

This is a long-term remote role for someone who is organised, reliable, communicates clearly, and already has practical SEO experience.

You will support our SEO team across multiple client accounts, helping deliver recurring monthly SEO work inside clear internal systems and processes.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable following structure, pays attention to detail, communicates proactively, and takes pride in consistent work.

## What you’ll be doing

* Supporting monthly SEO delivery across client accounts
* Keyword research and competitor checks
* Working inside Ahrefs and Google Search Console
* Monitoring rankings, indexing and visibility data
* Supporting on-page SEO tasks
* Uploading and formatting content where needed
* Assisting with local SEO activities
* Following task checklists and internal SOPs
* Providing clear updates on progress and deadlines

## Requirements

* Practical SEO experience (agency or freelance is fine)
* Comfortable using Ahrefs
* Comfortable using Google Search Console
* Good understanding of on-page SEO fundamentals
* Strong written English
* Strong communication and responsiveness
* Reliable working hours and daily availability
* High attention to detail
* Able to follow systems rather than freestyle

## Important

Communication is extremely important in this role.

We value reliability, clarity, and consistency just as much as technical skill.

If you struggle to communicate clearly, disappear during working hours, or regularly miss updates, this role will not be the right fit.

## Working hours

You will work within our existing team structure, with overlap into UK business hours.
