We are looking for a detail-oriented Video Quality Assurance (QA) Reviewer to ensure the quality of our YouTube tutorial videos. Your main task will be watching submitted videos (5 to 10 minutes each) from start to finish and identifying areas that need correction based on our specific checklist.
Key Responsibilities & QA Checklist: You will review each video and provide feedback on the following points:
1. Audio-Visual Sync: Do the screen actions (such as mouse clicks, screen transitions) perfectly match the timing of the voiceover?
2. Pronunciation & Intonation: Does the voiceover sound like natural, standard American English? You must check for awkward intonations, incorrect word stress, robotic sounds, or unnatural pauses.
3. Highlights: Are the video highlights properly included and appropriately placed?
4. Pacing & Flow: Is the cut editing fast-paced and engaging? You need to point out any unnecessarily dragged-out sections or long silences.
5. Script Variation (When reviewing multiple videos on the same topic): Are the scripts slightly modified for each video to ensure they are not exactly identical?
Workload & Compensation:
• Video Length: 5 to 10 minutes per video.
• Work Volume: We will start with 1~2 videos initially. If the work is satisfactory, the volume will gradually increase to reviewing batches of 30~40 videos at once.
• Payment: $1.25 / video reviewed (based on a 5-minute video).
Requirements:
• Excellent ear for standard American English pronunciation and natural pacing.
• Strong attention to detail, especially for screen-recording tutorials.
• Reliable communication and ability to strictly follow the checklist.
