Video Editor for Instagram Reels & YouTube

Hello!

My name is Abi and I am based in Australia. I am starting to build a personal content brand and I am looking for a video editor to work with long term as my content grows.

At the moment I have content for few reel, but my goal is to create multiple reels and YouTube videos each week as I film more of my day-to-day life.

My content includes things like:
• Horses and riding
• Running and fitness
• Day-to-day lifestyle
• Business / career journey
• Travel and outdoor life

I film mostly raw, natural footage, and I want my videos to feel authentic, energetic and engaging rather than overly polished.

What I Need From You

• Edit short form videos for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
• Occasionally edit longer YouTube videos
• Add subtitles / captions
• Light music and simple transitions
• Cut footage to make it engaging and fast paced

Most videos will be 30–60 seconds.

Editing Style

I like content that feels:
• Real and authentic
• Fast paced
• Engaging
• Clean and simple

Examples of editing style:
• Jump cuts
• Subtitles
• Zoom cuts
• Simple music

Skills Required

• Good English (important so you understand the content)
• Experience editing short form content (Reels / Shorts / TikTok)
• Experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve
• Ability to deliver videos formatted for social media


Work Structure

At the moment:
• Small amount of content, 5hrs a week

Goal over time:
• A few reels per week
• YouTube Shorts
• Occasional YouTube videos

This role has the potential to become long-term and grow as my content grows to a few days a week.
