JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant / Allied Health Assistant to join our growing team in a fully remote work-from-home role.

You will work closely with our Occupational Therapists to support the delivery of services to older Australians, people living with disability, and veterans, helping them remain safe, independent, and confident in their own homes.

This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative and communication skills who enjoys supporting healthcare professionals behind the scenes.

It is also an excellent opportunity for a licensed Occupational Therapist in the Philippines who would like to work with an Australian allied health team.

Administrative & Operational Support
- Assist Occupational Therapists with paperwork and documentation
- Perform general administrative tasks
- Draft emails and communications for OTs to review and send
- Book clients into assessment and therapy appointments
- Manage and respond to helpdesk and service requests
- Make phone calls to clients, suppliers, and care coordinators
- Assist with daily invoicing of completed services

Client & Service Coordination
- Coordinate service bookings and scheduling
- Follow up with clients regarding appointments or documentation
- Assist with ordering assistive technology and equipment for clients
- Liaise with suppliers regarding product orders and delivery

Administrative Workflow
- Maintain accurate records in the practice management system
- Support the team with administrative workflows and documentation
- Ensure jobs are invoiced promptly after completion

Skills & Experience

Essential:
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong communication skills with a professional phone manner
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Comfortable using computers, online systems and CRM platforms
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Desirable:
- Allied Health Assistant experience
- Occupational Therapy background
- Healthcare administration experience
- Experience supporting aged care, disability, or community services
