Job Description
We are seeking passionate and experienced near-native English-speaking online teachers with strong backgrounds in English and/or World History. Candidates may specialize in one subject (English or History) or be able to teach both. The ideal teachers will have experience working with young learners and be committed to creating a supportive and engaging online classroom.
Responsibilities
• Provide instruction in English and/or World History to individuals and small groups of 2–6 students aged 5–18.
• Utilize international-standard curricula.
• Create and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to each student’s needs.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Qualifications
• Professional teacher with at least 2 years of teaching experience (Kindergarten–Grade 12) and verifiable teaching certifications such as TESOL, TEFL, etc.
• Near-native English accent.
• Strong academic background in English and/or World History (additional experience in Science/Economics is a plus).
• Ability to work between 17:00–22:00 (Weekdays) and 09:00–22:00 (Weekends) GMT+8.
• Experience teaching in public/international schools.
• Skilled at working with young learners aged 5–18
• Familiarity with ClassIn and digital literacy (Microsoft Suite and other educational platforms).
• Must have a stable and fast internet connection and a PC/laptop with at least Windows 10/Mac OS Catalina.
