AI Finance, Accounting Specialist (Automation and Systems)

We are looking for an AI-native Finance & Accounting Specialist who can modernize and streamline our financial operations using automation, AI tools, and intelligent workflows. This role combines traditional accounting knowledge (U.S. GAAP) with forward-thinking systems design to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

The ideal candidate understands how to deploy AI agents and tools across accounting workflows, from bookkeeping and reporting to forecasting and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

Implement and manage accounting systems aligned with U.S. GAAP standards

Design and deploy AI-driven workflows to automate financial processes

Optimize bookkeeping, reconciliation, and reporting using AI tools

Integrate financial data across platforms (QuickBooks, Stripe, CRM, etc.)

Build dashboards and reporting systems for real-time financial insights

Automate tasks such as:

expense categorization

invoice processing

revenue tracking

financial forecasting

Identify inefficiencies and improve processes using automation and agents

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Requirements

Strong understanding of U.S. accounting principles (GAAP)

Experience with accounting platforms (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)

Experience using or implementing AI tools in finance workflows

Ability to design automated systems and integrations

Strong analytical and systems-thinking mindset
