Full-Time (40 hours/week) | Remote | Ruah Creative House
Ruah Creative House is a purpose-driven creative agency that partners with churches, nonprofits, and mission-focused leaders to create meaningful media and storytelling.
We are hiring a full-time Creative Content QA Specialist to own the quality layer across our entire production pipeline, from pre-production through final delivery. This is not a passive review role. You will be the person who makes sure every project is set up for success before it reaches an editor, and that every deliverable meets our standard before it reaches a client.
This role sits between our clients and our editors. You are the quality gate on both sides.
What You Will Do
Pre-Production (Front End)
Confirm that all assets (footage, graphics, audio, documents) are received, organized, and placed in the correct project folders before a project enters the editing queue
Source and cull raw footage using our internal training and SOPs, identifying the strongest clips and flagging what is usable versus what should be set aside
Ensure the creative brief is complete and clear so editors can start without delays or questions
Communicate with the team to resolve any missing assets or unclear instructions before work begins
Post-Production (Back End)
Review all video exports before they are sent to the client, checking for caption accuracy, grammar, spelling, pacing, tone, and overall polish
Review graphic and social media content for alignment with brand guidelines, correct scripture references, and visual consistency
Provide clear, specific, and respectful feedback to editors when revisions are needed
Serve as the final internal checkpoint before content moves to our client communications team for delivery
Who This Role Is For
You have a creative eye. You may not be a full-time editor, but you understand what good footage looks like, why pacing matters, and how to evaluate whether a piece of content is ready. You are highly organized, detail-obsessed, and reliable.
Ideal backgrounds include:
Content editors or production coordinators
Junior video editors or post-production assistants
Social media managers with creative review experience
Communications professionals with media production exposure
Copy editors or proofreaders with visual content awareness
Required Skills
Excellent written English with strong grammar and proofreading ability
Creative judgment, the ability to recognize when pacing, tone, or presentation feels off
Experience organizing digital assets (footage, images, documents) in structured folder systems
Ability to give clear, actionable, and respectful feedback
High attention to detail and reliability
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Strong Preference For
Experience with video content, even at a basic level (understanding cuts, pacing, transitions)
Familiarity with culling or sorting raw footage
Experience reviewing captions or subtitles
Familiarity with Christian or faith-based content and messaging
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Remote position
Flexible scheduling within reasonable availability windows
Long-term role with growth opportunity as the team and client roster expand
Important Application Instructions
To help us identify applicants who have strong attention to detail, please follow these steps carefully.
Step 1
At the top of your application message, write the following sentence exactly as shown below. Do not correct it.
"I have experience reviewing creative content and i no that attention to detail are important in this kind of role."
This sentence contains intentional errors. Copying it exactly tells us that you read the full post and can follow instructions. Do not fix the grammar.
Step 2
Below that sentence, write a short message introducing yourself. Include your relevant experience and why you are a good fit for this role.
Step 3
If you have a portfolio, samples of past QA or review work, or examples of organized asset workflows, please include links or attachments.
We value people who read carefully and follow through. We look forward to hearing from you.
