About Us
We’re a solo-founder Australian tech company building a portfolio of consumer and B2B apps. Our first product, Labeebee (a personalised AI-powered children’s bedtime story app), is currently launching on both the Apple App Store and Google Play. We have several more apps in the pipeline and need a reliable, detail-oriented person to help us get them across the finish line and growing. This isn’t a task-following role — we want someone who can take ownership of the launch and post-launch process. You’ll likely have more experience in some of these areas than us, and that’s exactly what we’re looking for. Help us build the SOPs, not just follow them.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for everything that happens between “the app works on my machine” and “users are downloading and loving it.” Specifically:
1. App Testing & QA - Manage and run cross-device testing using BrowserStack (we’ll provide the subscription)
Create and maintain test plans for each app and release
Document bugs with clear reproduction steps, device info, and screenshots/recordings
Verify fixes and manage regression testing before submissions
2. App Store Management - Set up and manage App Store Connect and Google Play Console accounts
Handle app submissions, review responses, and compliance requirements
Manage privacy declarations, content ratings, and platform-specific policies
Configure in-app purchases and subscriptions (we use RevenueCat)
Monitor review feedback and respond to user reviews on both platforms
3. App Store Optimisation (ASO) & Growth - Keyword research and listing optimisation for both stores
A/B test store listing elements (screenshots, descriptions, titles)
Track rankings and conversion metrics, suggest improvements
Competitor analysis and category positioning
4. Visual Assets & Design Support - Create and update App Store and Google Play screenshots (phone + tablet)
Design feature graphics, promotional banners, and store imagery
Produce social media assets for app launches and updates
Light graphic design work
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves
- Direct experience submitting and managing apps on both the Apple App Store and Google Play
- Familiarity with app review processes, rejection reasons, and how to resolve them
- Experience with cross-device/cross-platform QA testing (BrowserStack experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document processes clearly
- Excellent written English — you’ll be writing store listings and responding to reviews
- Self-starter mindset — you can identify what needs doing without being told
Nice-to-Haves
- Graphic design skills (Figma, Canva, or similar)
- ASO experience with tools like AppTweak, Sensor Tower, or AppFollow
- Experience with RevenueCat or similar subscription management platforms
- Basic understanding of mobile app development (React Native/Expo is a plus)
- Experience with analytics tools (Firebase, Amplitude, Mixpanel)
Hours & Compensation
- Hours: 10–20 hours per week (flexible)
- Type: Ongoing / long-term retainer
- Rate: Competitive — based on experience
- Timezone: Flexible, with some overlap with AEST
- Bonuses: Milestone-based bonuses (see below)
Milestone Bonuses
We offer milestone-based bonuses tied to key outcomes like successful app approvals, download targets, and store ratings. Specific amounts will be discussed and agreed upon together during onboarding.
Tools We Use
You don’t need to know all of these on day one, but familiarity with any of them is a plus: BrowserStack (QA testing), App Store Connect & Google Play Console, RevenueCat (subscriptions), Expo / EAS CLI (React Native builds), GitHub (version control), Figma / Canva (design), Firebase / analytics platforms.
How to Apply
Send us a message that includes:
- Must include: “EGB App Launch Specialist” exactly in the subject.
- A brief summary of your experience with app store submissions (how many apps, which platforms, any notable outcomes)
- An example of a challenge you faced during an app review/submission and how you resolved it
- Your experience with QA testing — tools used, how you document and track bugs
- Any design portfolio or examples of store screenshots/assets you’ve created
- Your available hours per week and preferred working schedule
- Your expected hourly or monthly rate
We’re building something exciting and want you to grow with us.
If you’re the kind of person who takes pride in a perfectly polished app listing and a clean bug report, we’d love to hear from you.
