Estimator - Cabinetry

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Estimator to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting in the preparation of cost estimates for custom and production cabinetry projects. The estimator will review project drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to calculate material, labor, and production costs. This role works closely with the sales, design, and production teams to ensure accurate and competitive project bids.

Key Responsibilities
• Review architectural drawings, design plans, and specifications for cabinetry projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for cabinetry and countertops.
• Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates and project bids.
• Maintain estimating spreadsheets and cost databases.
• Collaborate with the design, engineering, and production teams to verify project scope.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
• Prepare and organize project documentation for internal use.
• Support senior designers and project managers as needed.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Basic understanding of construction drawings and measurements is required.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic office software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills
• Experience with cabinetry, millwork, woodworking, or construction estimating.
• Familiarity with CAD drawings or design software.
• Experience with estimating or takeoff software.
