Communications Lead

About the Role

We are looking for two Communications Leads to take full ownership of member-facing communications - from brief to delivery. This is not a support or execution role. You will be expected to think independently, manage competing priorities, and drive projects forward without constant direction.
You will work closely with the Parlor team on planning, writing, and coordination - managing timelines, organizing assets, and ensuring every member's communication reflects the standard of the club. The right person is proactive, editorially sharp, and capable of building structure in ambiguous situations.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end communications projects: intake, planning, drafting, review coordination, and delivery
Develop member-facing copy across email campaigns, event communications, and club announcements
Manage project tracking across multiple concurrent workstreams, keeping timelines on track
Build and maintain spreadsheets for content calendars, member lists, and project timelines
Coordinate approvals and revisions with internal stakeholders; manage feedback loops efficiently
Identify gaps in communications workflows and propose solutions before they become problems
Maintain Parlor’s voice and standards across all member-facing materials

What We’re Looking For
Proven ability to lead projects independently — not just execute tasks assigned to you
Strong critical thinking: comfortable taking an ambiguous brief and building a structured plan
Exceptional written English — sophisticated register, strong editorial judgment, near-native fluency
High proficiency in Google Sheets for project organization and tracking
Background in communications, content, marketing, or a client-facing coordination role
Proactive communicator who surfaces issues early and manages up effectively
Reliable and self-directed working with a U.S.-based team across time zones

Type - Independent Contractor
Compensation - $1,600 – $2,100 USD/month
Hours - Full-time, ~40 hrs/week
Schedule - 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM PHT (Mon–Fri)
Location - Remote — Philippines
