We're not looking for someone to execute a brief and disappear. We're looking for a designer who lives and breathes planners — someone who has opinions about layouts, notices what's missing in the market, and gets genuinely excited about designing a brand new themed monthly spread. If you've never used a discbound planner, this role is not for you.

WHO WE ARE

FeroniArt Planners is an Amazon FBA brand in the discbound planner niche. We have 600+ active listings, ship 1,500+ orders every month, and our catalog covers discbound notebooks, planner covers, inserts, and accessories — all built around the disc-ring system used by brands like Happy Planner, ARC, and Levenger Circa.

We're a small two-person team. We move fast, make decisions quickly, and we're serious about becoming the #1 discbound planner brand on Amazon. We're not there yet — and this role is a big part of how we get there.

WHAT WE NEED

Our existing catalog has good bones but needs a design upgrade. Some inserts are outdated. Some covers don't reflect where the market is heading. We're also launching entirely new product lines — themed insert collections, premium covers, and new categories we haven't touched yet.

We need a designer who can take ownership across all of this:

1. Refresh & Update Existing Designs
- Review our current insert catalog and identify what needs updating
- Redesign dated layouts to match current planner trends: clean typography, intentional white space, functional structure
- Maintain brand consistency across the catalog while elevating the overall look

2. New Undated & Dated Insert Collections
- Design undated monthly, weekly, and daily inserts in themed collections — nature, botanical, minimal, seasonal, and more
- Design dated versions of the same inserts for annual releases
- Work across all standard discbound sizes: Letter (8.5x11 / 11-disc), Classic (7x9.25 / 9-disc), Half Letter (5.5x8.5 / 8-diff), Mini (4.5x7 / 7-disc)
- Deliver both native-size PDFs and letter-size home-print versions for every insert

3. New Specialty Insert Categories
- Home management: meal planning, cleaning schedules, household trackers
- Business & productivity: project planning, meeting notes, goal setting
- Hobby & lifestyle: reading logs, fitness trackers, travel journals, gratitude pages
- Student: class schedules, assignment trackers, study planners
- Each category should feel like a curated collection — not a random assortment of pages

4. Planner Cover Design
- Design print-ready and supplier-ready cover files for new product launches
- Work with fabric swatches and material references — we're launching woven fabric and textured PU leather covers
- Create product mockups for Amazon listings and internal review

5. Amazon Listing Visuals
- Design infographic images that clearly communicate product features, size, disc compatibility, and use case
- Create A+ Content modules: feature highlights, size comparison charts, brand story visuals
- Work alongside our Amazon Listing Specialist — you design, they upload and optimize

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Someone who actually uses planners — or at minimum, deeply understands how people use them
- A designer who follows trends: what's selling, what's emerging, what's overdone
- Comfortable working independently — we don't micromanage, but we expect initiative and consistency
- Detail-oriented: correct bleed, proper margins, clean exports — every single time
- Someone who wants to grow with the brand, not just complete tasks and move on

SKILLS REQUIRED

- Adobe InDesign — required for all insert and print file production
- Adobe Photoshop — required for listing images and infographics
- Canva — for quick Amazon visuals and mockups
- Strong understanding of print specs: bleed, safe zones, CMYK vs RGB
- Experience designing for Amazon listings — a strong plus
- Familiarity with discbound planners (Happy Planner, ARC, Levenger Circa) — a strong plus
