JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a creative and performance-driven Video Editor to produce high-converting video ads for Meta (Facebook & Instagram). The ideal candidate understands direct response advertising, fast-paced editing, and how to structure videos that capture attention in the first 3 seconds and drive conversions.

You will work closely with the media buying and creative teams to transform raw footage into scroll-stopping ad creatives optimized for performance.

Key Responsibilities

Edit short-form video ads for Meta (Facebook & Instagram).

Create UGC-style ads, product demos, testimonials, and problem-solution ads.

Optimize videos for mobile-first viewing (9:16, 1:1 formats).

Implement strong hooks in the first 1–3 seconds to stop the scroll.

Add captions, motion graphics, sound effects, and transitions to improve engagement.

Adapt existing creatives into multiple variations for testing.

Collaborate with media buyers and creative strategists to iterate based on performance data.

Follow Meta ad creative best practices and current trends.

Maintain organized project files and deliver edits quickly.

Requirements

2+ years of video editing experience, preferably in paid social ads.

Strong proficiency in:

Adobe Premiere Pro

After Effects

CapCut / Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve (any additional tools are a plus)

Experience editing direct-response ads.

Strong understanding of:

Hook structures

Ad storytelling

Retention optimization

Ability to produce multiple ad variations quickly.

Experience with UGC-style editing and TikTok/Reels formats.

Basic understanding of performance marketing and A/B testing.

Nice to Have

Experience working with eCommerce brands or agencies.

Knowledge of Meta Ads performance metrics (CTR, CPA, thumb-stop ratio).

Motion graphics skills.

Experience with AI video tools (Runway, Opus, etc.).

Deliverables

The Video Editor will regularly produce:

15–60 second Meta video ads

3–10 variations per concept

Hook variations

Different aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9)
