Amazon Product Research and Product Development and Sourcing Specialist for Kids Toy Brand

ABOUT THE BRAND
Lilli and Luki is a growing childrens toy brand focused on educational toys for children age 2 to 6. Our products focus on playful learning creativity nature inspired design and safe high quality materials.

We mainly sell on Amazon Germany and the European market and develop our own private label toy products.

We are looking for a long term tea ---------- mber who can help us develop new products from the first product idea to a production ready product.

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Product Research and Product Development Specialist who can support the entire product development process.

Your job is to help find new product opportunities develop product concepts work with suppliers and support the designer until the final product is ready for production.

You will work directly with the founder and our designer.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Research
Research new product ideas for our brand in the childrens toy category age 2 to 6
Analyze demand competition pricing and market potential on Amazon
Identify product opportunities with good demand and realistic competition
Present structured product ideas with research data

Customer Review Analysis
Analyze customer reviews of competing products on Amazon
Identify common problems complaints and improvement opportunities
Use customer feedback to improve product concepts
Help design better products by solving real customer problems

Product Specification
Define product specifications for selected products such as
size
materials
components
functions
Prepare clear product briefs for our designer and suppliers

Product Design Support
Work together with our designer to develop the best product design
Support product improvements based on research and customer feedback
Support packaging design product inserts and instructions
Ensure the product design fits our brand and target group

Supplier Sourcing
Find suitable manufacturers mainly in China
Contact suppliers and request quotations
Compare suppliers based on price quality MOQ and communication
Identify reliable suppliers

Sample Development
Order and coordinate product samples
Communicate improvements with suppliers
Iterate until the final product sample is ready for production

Price Negotiation
Negotiate pricing with suppliers
Optimize product cost packaging cost and MOQ
Ensure good margins for our business

Production Preparation
Prepare products for production
Ensure all product specifications are clear for the supplier
Support the process until the product is ready for manufacturing

MARKET FOCUS
Our products are mainly sold in Germany and the European Union.

It is important that products meet European customer expectations and quality standards.

Basic understanding of European product requirements is helpful but we will support you with this.

REQUIRED SKILLS
Experience with Amazon product research
Experience finding and communicating with suppliers
Strong analytical thinking for product opportunities
Good English communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to organize and manage product development tasks

Experience using Helium10 or Keepa
Experience sourcing on Alibaba
Experience with private label products
Experience with childrens products or toys
