JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a loyal, committed, and highly driven Junior General Manager to support the daily operation of a hotel or resort property in Indonesia.

This role is for a hospitality professional who performs well under pressure, takes ownership seriously, and has a strong desire to grow into a bigger operational leadership role. We are looking for someone who is not only operationally capable, but also proactive, creative, disciplined, and eager to develop together with the company.

The right candidate must be hands-on, service-focused, mentally strong, and able to lead people with consistency, responsibility, and a positive working attitude. This is a role for someone who wants to build a long-term career, not just hold a title.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the overall daily operation of the property

Work closely with department heads to ensure smooth execution across all areas

Maintain service standards, operational discipline, and guest satisfaction

Respond effectively to daily operational challenges and high-pressure situations

Assist in leading teams with accountability, structure, and consistency

Support problem-solving, decision-making, and service recovery

Help improve operational flow, team coordination, and guest experience

Contribute ideas for operational improvement, creativity, and service enhancement

Ensure proper follow-up on management instructions and departmental action points

Support the long-term development of the property through strong daily execution

Hardworking, disciplined, and operationally hands-on

Creative and proactive in finding solutions and improving the guest experience

Strong leadership potential with the ability to motivate and guide teams

Service-oriented, detail-conscious, and mature in attitude

Able to adapt, execute, and maintain standards in a dynamic hospitality environment


Requirements:

Previous experience in hotel or resort operations in a supervisory or managerial capacity

Strong understanding of Rooms Division, Housekeeping, F&B, and guest service operations

Leadership ability with a strong work ethic and ownership mentality

Good communication skills in English

Able to work in a fast-paced operational environment

Resort experience is an advantage

Southeast Asia experience is an advantage
