Art Director

Blunt Cases is a fast-growing fashion phone case brand creating bold, aesthetic phone cases for women who want to express themselves. Our mission is simple: help women feel confident, authentic, and unapologetically themselves.

We’re looking for an Art Director who can elevate the entire visual identity of the brand. This role is both strategic and hands-on. You”ll shape the creative vision, guide design execution, and lead a growing creative team.

If you’re obsessed with aesthetics, deeply comfortable using AI image and video generation tools, and love building beautiful visual systems across products, packaging, and campaigns, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

Creative Direction
• Define and evolve the visual identity of Blunt Cases
• Create creative direction for product collections, campaigns, and launches
• Develop mood boards, aesthetic references, and visual guidelines for designers
• Ensure consistency across product design, ads, social media, and packaging

Product & Design Oversight
• Guide the creation of new phone case designs and collections
• Work closely with designers to refine and approve designs
• Maintain a high aesthetic bar and ensure designs align with brand vision
• Help identify trends in fashion, art, and culture that can inspire new designs

AI-Driven Design & Creative Tools
• Use AI image generation tools to generate concepts, patterns, and visual ideas
• Combine AI tools with Photoshop and traditional design tools to refine and finalize designs
• Build efficient creative workflows that leverage AI for speed and experimentation

Branding & Packaging
• Lead the design and development of product packaging
• Maintain consistency across all branded touchpoints
• Develop new brand assets, templates, and visual systems as the brand grows

Team Leadership
• Manage and guide a team of designers and creative contributors
• Provide clear creative direction and feedback
• Ensure projects move efficiently from concept ? design ? production
• Oversee multiple creative projects at once while maintaining quality

What We’re Looking For

You’re someone who:
• Has strong visual taste and aesthetic instincts
• Is extremely comfortable using AI image generation tools
• Is highly skilled in Photoshop and modern design tools
• Can think both creatively and strategically
• Has experience managing designers and creative workflows
• Is organized and comfortable managing multiple creative projects simultaneously
• Understands trends in fashion, culture, and Gen Z aesthetics

• Advanced Photoshop
• Experience with AI image generation tools
• Strong creative direction and visual storytelling
• Experience managing or directing a creative team in agency setting
• Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, design systems, or product design
