My name is Kerry Abner, founder of Manhattan Grey, a fast-growing haircare brand built for people embracing their natural grey hair.

Manhattan Grey was created to celebrate confidence, maturity, and pride in natural grey hair. Our products are designed to support healthier grey hair while building a positive global community of people embracing their “Greytness.”
Our brand content celebrates real people confidently embracing grey hair, with a visual style that feels modern, timeless, and editorial.

We are looking for a part-time Social Media Manager and Virtual Assistant to help source and manage content publishing, engage with our community, and support daily operations.

This role is ideal for someone who loves social media, online communities, and brand storytelling.

What You'll Be Doing:

Social Media Support
- Schedule and publish posts across Instagram, Facebook, and Facebook Groups
- Write or refine captions when needed
- Add hashtags, tags, and links
- Organize and upload content to scheduling tools

Community Management
- Respond to comments and DMs
- Welcome new members to our community
- Engage with creators and customers
- Flag important messages for the founder

Creator & UGC Support
- Help identify potential creators in the grey hair community
- Send outreach messages to invite creators into the Manhattan Grey community
- Organize creator information in spreadsheets or Airtable

Content Organization
- Organize photo and video assets in Google Drive
- Maintain a weekly content calendar
- Assist with basic research for trends and community topics

General Virtual Assistant Support
- Light administrative support related to social media
- Assist with customer engagement when needed
- Help maintain a positive and supportive online community

Who I'm Looking For

The ideal candidate:
- Has experience with Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Has worked as a Virtual Assistant or Social Media Assistant
- Has strong written English
- Is organized and detail-oriented
- Enjoys interacting with people online
- Is comfortable working independently
- Is proactive and reliable

Bonus Skills (not required):
- Experience with Canva
- Experience with Facebook/Instagram/TikTok/Pinterest scheduling tools
- Experience managing online communities or Facebook Groups

Work Schedule:
This is a part-time position.

Expected workload:
- 2–4 hours per day
- 5 days per week

Flexible schedule as long as tasks are completed.
