About Lashed It
Lashed It is a premium lash extension education business based on the Gold Coast, Australia. We train women to become skilled, confident lash technicians and build profitable businesses from scratch. Our in-person courses are fully booked months in advance and backed by lifetime student support.
The founder actively uses AI tools in every part of the business. We are not looking for someone to learn AI on the job. We want someone who already lives and breathes it.
 
The Role
We are hiring a part time VA for approximately 10 hours per week to own our content creation and student communications. This is a remote, async role. You will be given clear direction and brand guidelines and expected to work independently without hand holding.
You will be the person behind the content that represents this brand. Quality, consistency, and attention to detail are non negotiable.
 
What You Will Be Doing
Content Creation
• Creating 3 Instagram Reels/Carousels per week
• Repurposing top performing Reels and carousels into Instagram Stories
• Using AI tools to speed up production without sacrificing quality
 
Student Support
• Monthly check ins with enrolled students via DM
• Keeping track of where students are in their journey and flagging anything that needs the founder's attention
 
Lead Follow Ups
• Weekly follow up with leads who have enquired but not yet enrolled using our existing scripts and sequences
 
Course Support
• Editing online course modules as directed (video cuts, captions, structure)
• Assisting with course creation tasks as needed

Automation
?Setting up and managing ManyChat flows for DM automation and lead capture
?Maintaining and updating automations as offers or messaging changes

Community
?Setting up a student community
?Creating and scheduling regular posts to help students
?Moderating and managing the community on an ongoing basis

TikTok
?Repurposing existing Reels content for TikTok

What We Need From You
• Proven experience using AI tools for content creation (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar)
• Strong Canva skills and an eye for clean, premium design
• Experience with Instagram content strategy, not just scheduling
• Excellent written English and the ability to write in someone else's voice
• Self directed with strong communication — you flag issues, you do not wait to be chased and reach out for help
• Available for async work with a reasonable turnaround within AEST business hours

• You are still learning how to use AI tools
• You need detailed instructions for every task
• You treat content creation as just scheduling posts
• You have never worked with a personal brand or service business before
• You don’t have fast internet connection
