About the Role
We're looking for a creative and culturally plugged-in Short-Form Video Editor to join our team. You'll be the driving force behind our TikTok and Instagram Reels presence — transforming raw content into scroll-stopping, trend-forward videos that resonate with our global community of women aged 18–35. If you live on TikTok, genuinely get internet culture, and have a sharp eye for what makes people stop and watch, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
• Edit and produce engaging short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels from existing content libraries, raw footage, and brand assets
• Stay ahead of TikTok and Instagram trends — identifying viral formats, sounds, and
• Select and integrate trending audio, including viral sounds, music, and provide voiceover scripts that align with each video's tone and target audience
• Write and overlay on-screen text, captions, and copy that feel native to the platform — referencing current pop culture,
• Create platform-specific edits optimised for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and paid social ads (with format, aspect ratio, and pacing adapted accordingly)
• Repurpose existing content across multiple platforms, adapting style and format for each audience
• Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to align video output with campaign goals, product launches, and brand voice
• Manage a consistent publishing pipeline, turning around high-quality edits quickly and efficiently
• Monitor video performance metrics and apply insights to continuously improve content
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
• 1–3+ years of experience editing short-form video content professionally or with a strong portfolio
• Deep, genuine knowledge of TikTok culture — you use it daily and understand how the algorithm, trends, and communities work
• Strong instinct for sound selection: you know which audio is trending, when to use music vs. a viral sound, and how audio drives engagement
• Ability to write punchy, culturally relevant on-screen text that connects with a diverse global audience of women aged 18–35
• Proficiency in video editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
• Fast turnaround capability — able to produce multiple quality edits per day when needed
• Strong understanding of aspect ratios, safe zones, and technical specs for TikTok and Instagram Reels
Nice-to-Haves
• Experience editing paid social ads (Meta/TikTok ad formats)
• Background in content creation, social media management, or influencer marketing
• Familiarity with analytics platforms (TikTok Analytics, Meta Insights) and ability to translate data into creative decisions
• Motion graphics or basic animation skills
• Experience working with fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or consumer brands targeting women
