Paint & Wallpaper Takeoff Estimator

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Paint & Wallpaper Takeoff Estimator to support painting and wallpaper projects by accurately measuring and estimating required materials based on construction plans and drawings. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills who can work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy when handling technical measurements and project estimates.

The successful candidate must be reliable, proactive in communication, and comfortable working with minimal supervision while providing consistent updates on project progress. The role will initially start as a part-time position, with a strong potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Review construction plans and drawings to perform accurate takeoffs for painting and wallpaper projects
- Calculate and estimate required paint, wallpaper, coatings, and related materials
- Ensure all measurements and estimates are accurate, consistent, and well-documented
- Identify potential discrepancies or missing details in plans and clarify when necessary
- Maintain organized records of estimates and project information
- Provide regular progress updates regarding ongoing tasks and project status
- Communicate proactively to ensure timelines and project requirements are met

Qualifications

- Proven experience in construction estimating or paint/wallpaper takeoffs
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when interpreting plans and measurements
- Ability to read and interpret architectural or construction drawings
- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and practical judgment
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide regular project updates
- Experience working with U.S. construction projects is an advantage, but candidates with relevant local experience are also encouraged to apply

Work Arrangement

- Work-in-Office (preferred); Office locations are in Cebu and Quezon City
- Work From Home may be considered for highly qualified candidates
- Part-time role initially, with strong potential to transition to full-time based on performance and project needs
