JOB OVERVIEW

ABOUT US
We are a US-based wedding photography company operating multiple brands. We manage a team of sales reps, photographers, videographers, and contractors across all brands. We are modernizing our entire operation by replacing HoneyBook, Google Sheets, and SignUpGenius with a unified platform built on Softr with Supabase as the backend database.
This is a long-term position with room to grow as the platform expands.

WHAT YOU WILL BE BUILDING
A multi-role web portal accessible on desktop and mobile with five distinct user-facing sections:
Client Portal
Clients will log in to view their project to-do checklist, payment schedule and payment status, available add-ons to purchase, and communicate with their coordinator.
Sales Rep Dashboard
Reps will track all proposals they have sent including client name, date sent, and current status (sent, viewed, accepted, paid). They will also view their commissions and earnings.
Contractor Portal
Contractors will browse and apply for available jobs, view jobs they have been assigned to, see their payment history, and communicate on active projects.
Wedding Manager Dashboard
Managers will oversee full project pipelines across their brand, manage contractor assignments and approvals, review contractor profiles including past jobs and internal notes, and manage media delivery and QA approvals.
Internal Job Board
A system to post new jobs every Wednesday at 9am automatically, with support for urgent postings outside the schedule. Contractors apply and managers approve, with conflict detection to prevent double-booking.
All data lives in Supabase (PostgreSQL). You will be responsible for connecting Softr to Supabase, building out all user roles and permissions, and migrating relevant data and workflows from our existing tools.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
You must have real, demonstrable experience building and shipping apps in Softr. Softr experience is strongly preferred but serious experience in another no-code platform such as WeWeb, Bubble, or Glide will be considered. A portfolio is required to be considered for this role.
You must be able to connect Softr to an external Supabase database via REST API, configure multi-role user access and permissions so that each user type sees only what they are supposed to see, work with existing data in Google Sheets and map it cleanly to database tables, and communicate clearly and proactively in written English.

WHAT YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO
You do not need to write backend code or manage Supabase infrastructure. The database schema will be provided to you in detail. You do not need to build the proposal generator as that is a separate project handled separately. You do not need to do any graphic design as branding and design direction will be provided.

HOW WE WORK
We work async-first with regular check-ins over Slack or a similar tool. Tasks are managed via a shared project board. You will work directly with the business owner who will provide specs, feedback, and approvals. We expect clear communication, honest updates on progress, and proactive flagging of any issues or blockers.
