AI App Developer

Full-Time | Remote | $15–$25/hr AUD

We leverage cutting-edge tools like Claude AI and Claude Code to rapidly develop intelligent apps for our clients. We’re a fast-moving, innovation-driven team looking for a talented developer to help us scale our growing portfolio of AI applications.

The Role
We’re looking for a mid-level developer who can take the AI-powered apps we’ve been prototyping with Claude Code and build them out into polished, production-ready products. You’ll work closely with our team to turn concepts into fully functional applications, improve existing builds, and help us push the boundaries of what’s possible with AI-assisted development.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Build out and refine AI-powered applications initially developed with Claude Code
• Develop full-stack web applications (frontend and backend) from concept to deployment
• Work with AI tools and APIs (Claude AI, OpenAI, and similar) to integrate intelligent features into apps
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with the team to translate ideas and prototypes into production-ready software
• Debug, test, and optimise applications for performance and reliability
• Stay current with AI development tools and best practices

What We’re Looking For
• 3+ years of experience in web/software development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar languages
• Experience with modern frameworks (React, Next.js, Node.js, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with AI/LLM APIs and tools (Claude, OpenAI, etc.) — experience with Claude Code is a big plus
• Comfortable working with APIs, databases, and cloud services (AWS, Vercel, Supabase, etc.)
• Ability to take loosely defined concepts and turn them into working software
• Strong problem-solving skills and a self-starter mindset
• Excellent written communication in English

Nice to Have
• Experience with prompt engineering and AI-assisted development workflows
• Background in building SaaS products or client-facing applications
• Familiarity with no-code/low-code tools alongside traditional development
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps basics
• Portfolio or GitHub showcasing personal or professional projects

Compensation & Benefits
• $15–$25/hr AUD depending on experience and skill level
