Expert Klaviyo Design

We’re looking for a Klaviyo-savvy email design extraordinaire to join our growing international team at In Flow Marketing.
This is a contractor role working across multiple eCommerce brands and industries.
If you understand that great email design is about deliverability, clarity, and conversion (not just pretty visuals), you’ll fit right in.

About Us

I’m Jess, founder of In Flow Marketing, based on the Gold Coast, Australia.
We help product-based eCommerce brands turn email into a reliable, stress-free sales channel using Klaviyo.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for designing Klaviyo emails that:
-Follow brand guidelines and email templates
-Balance Klaviyo-built sections with image-based design
-Are mobile-optimised and deliverability-friendly
-Work across different brands and industries

You’ll be working alongside Jess, strategist & copywriter, and other designers so this role is design-focused, but email-specific.

What You’ll Be Doing
-Designing epic emails directly in Klaviyo
-Using a mix of Klaviyo text blocks and image sections (not image-only emails)
-Maintaining strong brand consistency across multiple clients
-Ensuring emails are mobile-friendly and accessible
-Collaborating with our team via Slack and ClickUp
-Delivering work reliably without micromanagement

What We’re Looking For

-Experience designing exceptional emails in Klaviyo
-Understanding of email deliverability basics and why text vs image balance matters
-Strong attention to detail and brand consistency
-Able to work across multiple brands and industries
-Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently
-Available to work during AEST business hours
-Good written English
-Great team player

This Role Is NOT a Fit If You:

-Only design emails fully in Canva or Figma and import everything
-Don’t understand how design impacts deliverability
-Need constant checking or reminders
-Struggle with deadlines or communication
-Do not have a great eye for design
