Klaviyo Email Builder (Part-Time, Long-Term)

We’re looking for a Klaviyo-focused Email Builder to help us send segmented, well-designed newsletters for a family-run Australian e-commerce business in the open-ended and educational play space. If you enjoy email marketing, care about quality, and like working with meaningful products for families and children, this role will be a great fit.

What you'll do

- Build Klaviyo campaigns from detailed briefs (sections, headings, copy provided)
- Work within pre-built Klaviyo templates - everything is set up, you bring it to life
- Create segmented newsletters
- Source and edit product images from supplied DAM
- Basic image resizing, cropping, and optimization for email
- Adjust subject lines and preview text
- Design mobile-first emails with strategic use of bold text and visual hierarchy
- QA emails before scheduling
- Update signup forms and flows

What you must know

- Confident Klaviyo usage (references needed)
- Comfortable working within pre-built templates in Klaviyo
- Email design basics
- Mobile-first layouts
- Following brand guidelines precisely
- Basic photo editing (cropping, resizing, optimizing images)
- Comfortable working with DAM systems or cloud-based image libraries

What this role is NOT

- Not a strategy role
- Not a copywriting role (copy and briefs are provided)
- Not a template design role (templates are pre-built in Klaviyo)
- Not a general VA role
- Not a full-time role (at this stage)

Pay & commitment

- AUD 10 / hour during the first 2 months (probation)
- AUD 12+ / hour after probation
- Paid per hour worked
- Annual review based on performance

Availability

- Available at least 3 weekdays per week (up to 20 hours)
- Ideally available most weekdays depending on campaigns
- Flexible hours, but dependable availability is important
