Freelance Photo Editor / Retoucher (Lightroom Classic) – Commercial & Product Photography

We are a Sydney-based digital and creative agency producing professional photography and visual content for businesses across Australia and internationally.

We are currently looking to recruit experienced freelance photo editors / retouchers to assist with ongoing project work.

The work involves editing and finishing photography for a range of industries including:

• construction & trade businesses
• real estate and property marketing
• automotive photography
• studio product photography
• commercial brand campaigns
• events and activations

This is not basic social media editing. The work involves professional client deliverables where colour accuracy, consistency and attention to detail are important.

Editors will be provided with:

• a detailed project brief
• RAW image files
• reference styles where required
• instructions for specific deliverables

Our goal is to build a small group of reliable editors who we can engage on an ongoing freelance basis as projects arise.

Projects may vary in complexity, but we are looking for editors who can consistently produce clean, professional results aligned with the brief.

Applicants must use:

• Adobe Lightroom Classic

Experience with Adobe Photoshop for advanced retouching, object removal, compositing or product work is a strong advantage.

Projects may include:

• real estate HDR editing
• construction and architectural photography
• product photography colour correction and retouching
• studio photography editing
• commercial photography finishing
• event photography editing

Editors should be confident working with RAW files, colour correction, exposure balancing and HDR workflows where required.

Technical Requirements

Applicants must have:

• strong written and spoken English
• a reliable computer capable of handling large RAW photo files
• stable high-speed internet connection
• reliable electricity / power availability
• ability to download and upload large batches of images
• good communication and responsiveness

We regularly transfer large batches of RAW photos, so stable internet is essential.
