About Automations Club:
Automations Club is a growing digital services company helping local home service businesses run smarter operations through automation, SEO, and paid advertising. We're a lean, high-trust team that moves fast and expects every person on it to own their lane completely.
We're building out our paid advertising function from the ground up — and we're looking for the person who will build it with us.
What This Role Actually Is:
This is not a "log in and check dashboards" role. There are no campaigns already running that need babysitting. You'd be coming in as our paid advertising expert — the person on the team who knows more about Google Ads and Meta Ads than anyone else — and your first job is to build the foundation.
That means creating the processes, building the campaign structures, writing the SOPs, and proving that paid advertising can be a reliable, results-driven service we offer our clients. As we grow, this role grows with it — with the goal of becoming a full-time position.
You'll operate across two areas:
1. Client Campaign Management
We serve local home service businesses (contractors, HVAC, plumbers, etc.). When a client adds Google Ads to their membership, you own everything inside those campaigns — setup, structure, optimization, and reporting. Our COO handles the client relationship; you handle the work and produce reports that make results clear to business owners who aren't ads-savvy.
2. Automations Club Internal Ads
You'll also manage paid campaigns for our own brand — primarily Meta Ads — to drive awareness and grow membership.
You'll work directly with our CEO, bringing him recommendations, flagging what's needed (creative assets, landing pages, offer angles), and executing the strategy with minimal hand-holding.
You're the Right Fit If:
- You have strong, hands-on Google Ads experience — Search campaigns, Performance Max, Local Services Ads, conversion tracking, Smart Bidding. You've built accounts from scratch, not just managed inherited ones.
- You have working knowledge of Meta Ads — campaign objectives, pixel setup, audience targeting, and lead generation for local businesses.
- You understand attribution and can set it up yourself — Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, pixel implementation, and call tracking. You're not guessing at what's driving results; you're building the measurement foundation that makes reporting accurate and campaign decisions defensible.
- You're proactive. You don't wait to be told something changed in the platform or that a campaign needs attention. You're already inside the accounts, already reading the data, already making moves.
- You can document your work clearly. SOPs, onboarding checklists, campaign templates — you build these as you go because you understand that a process that lives only in your head isn't a process.
- You use AI tools to work more efficiently and you're comfortable building workflows that reduce manual effort over time.
- You can translate campaign data into plain English. Our clients are business owners, not media buyers. Your reports need to make sense to them — and your attribution setup needs to back up every recommendation you make about where their budget should go next.
This Role Is NOT for You If:
- You need someone to tell you what to test next or what's underperforming
- You've only ever optimized campaigns someone else set up
- You're looking for a passive side gig with minimal involvement
- You can't set up your own tracking and attribution from scratch
- You don't have genuine Google Ads expertise (Meta-only experience is not sufficient for this role)
What You'll Own:
- Complete setup and ongoing management of Google Ads campaigns for client accounts, including account structure, audience targeting, and conversion configuration
- Attribution setup and tracking implementation for every active campaign — ensuring conversions are measured correctly, data is clean, and the numbers we're presenting to clients actually reflect what's happening in their business
- Meta Ads campaign management for Automations Club internal growth
- Performance reporting for active campaigns, built on accurate attribution data — giving clients and leadership a clear, honest picture of what campaigns are producing and what adjustments should be made to improve results
- Building the paid advertising service framework: scope documentation, onboarding process, campaign templates, and SOPs
- Staying current on platform changes, algorithm updates, and best practices — and bringing relevant insights to the team proactively

- Part-time (with a clear path to full-time as the ads function grows)
- Remote / async-friendly

- Works with a small, focused team — you'll have direct access to leadership and real ownership of your work
