We are hiring a full-time, long-term Accounting Manager to join our growing remote team. This role is ideal for an advanced accounting professional who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple client engagements while taking ownership of key accounting responsibilities.

This role follows a split-shift schedule to allow real-time collaboration with our US-based team while providing independent production time.
8:00 PM – 1:00 AM Manila
12:00 PM – 3:00 PM Manila

This is a dedicated full-time position.

Role Overview
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 15 clients and ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of all bookkeeping and month-end close processes.
This role emphasizes ownership, organization, and task management. You will oversee client accounting workflows, ensure deadlines are met, and maintain high-quality financial reporting standards for each assigned client.
Key Responsibilities
Manage entire accounting cycle for 15 or more client accounts
Own the full monthly close process for assigned clients
Perform and review bank and credit card reconciliations
Maintain accurate transaction categorization in QuickBooks Online
Prepare monthly financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet)
Identify inconsistencies, errors, or unusual activity in financial reports
Prepare and post adjusting journal entries during month-end close
Ensure all assigned client work is completed accurately and on schedule
Manage accounting tasks and maintain organized client workflows
Communicate regularly with the Lead Accountant regarding client status

Advanced QuickBooks Online experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Strong understanding of debits, credits, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures
3+ years bookkeeping or accounting experience
Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Reliable computer with fast internet connection
Quiet workspace for meetings and focused work
Strong written and verbal English communication
