JOB OVERVIEW

About BOOTH Training
BOOTH Training is a coaching and content business in the performance, paddling and ocean sports space. The brand is built around high performance, athlete development, coaching insight and real world experience at the top level of the sport.

I am looking for a highly organised and capable Content & Media Assistant to help manage the flow of content behind the scenes and improve consistency across social platforms.

This is not just a basic admin role. I want someone who can take raw content, podcast recordings, ideas and notes, and turn them into polished, organised and publish ready media.

A key part of this role is helping create instructional content that teaches, builds trust and reaches a wide audience. The purpose of the content is to help people learn, improve and better understand the sport, while also supporting the growth of the business through coaching packages, clinics, technique analysis and related services.

This role will begin with BOOTH Training, but may expand over time into supporting the Michael Booth personal brand and BOOTH Watersports, depending on the strengths of the person hired.

About the Role
You will help manage content production and content admin across the business. This includes social media scheduling, short form video editing, podcast editing in Riverside, content organisation, and supporting the weekly output of the brand.

A major focus of the role is helping shape and present educational content in a clear and engaging way. The goal is to create content that is useful and instructional for a broad audience, while positioning BOOTH Training as a trusted coaching brand and creating interest in paid offers such as online coaching, clinics and technique analysis.

The ideal person is organised, efficient, creative within clear boundaries, and understands how to make content look clean, professional and consistent.

• Schedule and publish content across Instagram and Facebook
• Format captions from voice notes, transcripts, prompts or rough ideas
• Help keep content planned, organised and moving ahead of schedule
• Assist with light admin related to content, media and online operations
• Potentially support content across BOOTH Training, Michael Booth personal brand and BOOTH Watersports as the role develops

What I’m Looking For
• Strong written and spoken English
• High attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills
• Experience with short form video editing
• Experience using Riverside for podcast editing and export
• Confident with Canva
• Comfortable working with Instagram and Facebook content workflows
• Able to follow clear direction and maintain brand consistency
• Reliable, responsive and proactive
• Able to work independently once expectations are clear
• Understands how to present content in a way that is educational, clear and useful to the audience

Highly Regarded
• Experience working with a coach, athlete, sports brand or personal brand
• Experience turning long form podcasts into short, engaging clips
• Familiarity with CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar editing software
• Understanding of clean, modern social media presentation
• Basic copywriting skills for captions and post formatting
• Experience with Meta Business Suite or other scheduling tools
• Experience with educational, instructional or conversion focused content

Who This Role Would Suit
