Airtable & n8n Developer for Operations System

We run an after-school coding program for kids across Hawaii. We have a fully automated operations system built on Airtable, n8n, and Softr. We need a developer to build new interfaces and maintain/extend our automation workflows.

The system:
- Airtable (20+ tables) — students, programs, sessions, attendance, invoicing, payroll
- n8n (10+ workflows) — enrollment processing, attendance tracking, email campaigns, invoice generation, payroll calculation, monitoring & alerts
- Softr — teacher and parent portals
- Integrations with Gmail, Slack, QuickBooks, Gusto


What you'll do:
- Build and maintain n8n workflows — new automations, bug fixes, extending existing flows
- Build Airtable Interfaces — dashboards, forms, and operational views for staff
- Improve Softr portal pages for teachers and parents
- Keep system documentation up to date as you build

You'll build:
- Airtable Interfaces — dashboards, filtered views, and forms for staff operations
- Softr portal pages — teacher attendance marking, parent-facing views
- N8N automation workflows (enrollment, attendance, invoicing, payroll, communications)

You need to know how to:
- Build n8n workflows — nodes, connections, expressions, error handling, API integrations
- Build in Airtable — interfaces, formulas, linked records, rollups, views
- Work with relational data across interconnected tables
- Read technical docs and work independently

How we built the system:
We use Claude Code with MCP connections to read our Airtable schema and manage n8n workflows directly. Comprehensive docs exist for every system.

Details:
- Fully remote, async
- Occasional syncs on Hawaii time (HST)
- Start with interfaces, ramp into full workflow ownership
