Virtual Assistant - Podcast Production & Content Operations

About the Role
I'm Alan Regala, founder of Athlete to Owner ( ---------- ) and host of The Franchise Champion Show podcast. I help professionals transition from corporate careers into franchise ownership.
I'm looking for a detail-oriented, proactive VA to take my podcast production and content workflow off my plate so I can focus on coaching, interviews, and growing the business.
This starts at 5-10 hours per week. As you learn the systems and demonstrate good work, hours will grow. The right person could eventually become a key part of a small team.

What You'll Be Doing
Podcast production (core of the role):
After each interview recording, you'll take the transcript and work with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to produce show notes, a blog post, a YouTube description with chapters, and LinkedIn post drafts. You'll follow established templates and style guidelines. You'll coordinate with the video editor, send him what he needs, and manage that back-and-forth. Once the episode is finalized, you'll handle publishing to YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and LinkedIn. You'll also research and reach out to potential podcast guests, track responses, and schedule pre-interview prep calls.
Research and client support:
Look up franchise information, compile notes, and help prepare presentation slides for client meetings. I'll give you clear direction on what I need. I just need someone to handle the execution.

What I'm Looking For
Strong written English is the most important thing. You'll be drafting content that represents my voice and brand. Readers should not be able to tell it wasn't written by me.
Reliability and communication come next. I need someone who replies promptly, flags problems early, and follows through without being chased.
AI proficiency is essential. You'll be using ChatGPT and similar tools daily. You won't be creating everything from scratch; you'll be directing AI and refining the output.
Podcast or content experience is a plus, but not required if you're a fast learner and take good notes.

Skills Required
Excellent written English
Strong communicator; responsive and proactive
Proficient with ChatGPT or similar AI tools
Comfortable with Google Docs, Google Slides, and basic research
Able to follow detailed templates and style guides

Nice to Have
Experience with podcast workflows or content production
Familiarity with YouTube Studio, Spotify for Podcasters, or LinkedIn
Experience with Canva

Hours and Pay
Starting at 5-10 hours per week, part-time
Clear path to grow to 20+ hours as trust is built
Rate: $4-6/hr
