EXPERIENCED MEDICAL BILLER & FRONT DESK COORDINATOR

A Renewed Path Psych & Wellness is a rapidly growing psychiatric and primary care practice providing culturally competent mental health services to diverse communities across Florida. Led by Sandy Voltaire Sutherland, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, DNP-c, we offer comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, therapy, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and wellness services in English, Creole, and French.

Schedule: MONDAY, WEDNESDAY SATURDAY, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

?? Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
?? Experience with OptiMantra EHR (our practice management system)
?? Familiarity with telehealth billing and modifiers (95, GT, etc.)
?? Experience with MAT billing (medication-assisted treatment/Suboxone)
?? Knowledge of CNS Vital Signs neurocognitive testing billing
?? Bilingual: English/Spanish or English/Creole
?? Small to mid-size practice experience
?? Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration, Medical Billing, or related field

? REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
MUST HAVE:
?? Minimum 3 years medical billing experience
?? Minimum 2 years mental health/behavioral health billing experience (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
?? Expert knowledge of psychiatric CPT codes:

90791 (psychiatric diagnostic evaluation)
90832, 90834, 90837 (psychotherapy)
90833, 90836, 90838 (psychotherapy add-on codes) ---------- , ---------- (E/M codes for psychiatry)

?? Proficiency with Medicare Part B, Medicaid, and commercial payers
?? Experience with Florida Medicaid plans (Sunshine Health, Better Health, Staywell, Molina, etc.)
?? Strong denial management and appeals experience
?? Working knowledge of ICD-10 codes for mental health diagnoses
?? Excellent computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel)
?? Professional phone manner and customer service skills
?? High school diploma or GED required

???? KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
MEDICAL BILLING (60% of role):
Claims Management:

Submit clean claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurers within 24-48 hours
Assign accurate CPT and ICD-10 codes for psychiatric services
Review clinical documentation to ensure medical necessity supports billing
Process payments, adjustments, and post EOBs accurately
Manage accounts receivable with goal of
