Job Title: Product Development Assistant – Find Manufacturer for IoT Weather Device

Description:

I am developing a new electronic product and need help finding the right manufacturer.

The product is a tabletop weather display device with the following features:

• 7-inch screen
• Android or Linux operating system
• Cellular connectivity (LTE-M / IoT data)
• Ability to run a weather application
• Simple user interface

Your job will be to:

• Research and identify manufacturers that can produce this type of device
• Contact manufacturers in China and other countries
• Ask technical questions about their capabilities
• Help coordinate development of a prototype
• Assist with sourcing components such as LTE-M modems

We are currently in the prototype phase, and the goal is to find a company that can produce a working sample.

Ideal experience:

• Experience sourcing hardware manufacturers
• Experience with IoT devices or embedded electronics
• Experience communicating with Chinese manufacturers
• Strong English communication skills
• Organized and able to research technical information

This could become a long-term position helping with product development and production coordination.
