JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description: Zoho CRM Developer Supervisor

The Zoho CRM Developer is responsible for leading the technical development, customization, and integration of Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, Zoho One applications, and client/vendor portals. This role combines strong technical expertise with leadership skills to supervise a development team, support marketing and IT initiatives, and deliver scalable solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
1.. Zoho CRM & Zoho One Development

Configure, customize, and optimize Zoho CRM and Zoho One applications.
Build and maintain custom modules, workflows, automations, and dashboards.
Manage data migration, data cleansing, and ongoing CRM maintenance.
Ensure compliance with data security and governance standards.

2. Zoho Creator Application Development

Architect, design, and build custom business applications using Zoho Creator.
Write Deluge scripts for workflows, logic, and automation.
Design database structures, forms, and reports tailored to business needs.
Implement Blueprints and structured approval processes.
Build and maintain client/vendor portals for external stakeholders.
Integrate Zoho Creator apps with CRM, Desk, Books, and third-party systems.

3. Portal Design & User Experience

Develop and oversee client-facing portals within Zoho Creator and WordPress.
Collaborate with marketing to align portal design with branding and customer journey.
Ensure portals are responsive, user-friendly, and secure.
Implement role-based access, dashboards, and document-sharing features.
Integrate Zoho portals with WordPress or other web platforms when needed.

4. Integration Management

Oversee integrations between Zoho apps and third-party platforms ( ---------- , Zapier, RingCentral, Twilio, ---------- , etc.).
Develop and maintain API-based integrations for seamless data flow.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues quickly.

5. Ticketing System Oversight (Zoho Desk)

Design, implement, and optimize Zoho Desk for customer support.
Create efficient workflows for ticket capture, routing, and resolution.
Train staff on proper use of the ticketing system.

6. AI & Automation

Implement and manage AI-driven tools (Zoho Zia, chatbots, Chatic Media AI Program).
Continuously refine AI programs to improve accuracy and customer experience.
Identify opportunities for automation to reduce manual work.

7. Marketing & Website Support (WordPress)

Provide technical support to the marketing team for website projects.
Manage and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and portals.
Work with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to enhance site functionality.
Ensure seamless integration of WordPress with Zoho CRM/Creator via APIs and plugins.
Support SEO, site performance optimization, and security best practices.

8. Vendor & Project Coordination

Act as liaison with Zoho, ---------- , Zapier, and hosting/IT vendors.
Manage contracts, procurement, and escalated technical issues.
Oversee IT-related projects from planning to execution.

9. Advisory Role

Serve as a technical advisor to the CEO on CRM, IT, and automation strategies.
Provide performance reports on CRM usage, portal adoption, and IT initiatives.
Recommend emerging technologies that improve efficiency and customer experience.

10. Training, Documentation & Support

Create SOPs, training materials, and technical documentation.
Conduct training sessions for staff and end users.
Provide escalated IT and Zoho-related support when necessary.

Qualifications

Experience:
5+ years of experience as a Zoho CRM/Zoho Creator Developer.

Technical Expertise:

Mastery of Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, Zoho Desk, Zoho Books, and Zoho One applications.
Strong knowledge of Deluge scripting and Zoho Creator app building.
Experience with Blueprints, portals, client/vendor dashboards, and workflows.
Proficiency in WordPress development (PHP, JavaScript/React, HTML, CSS, MySQL).
Experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP, OAuth 2.0, JSON, XML).
Knowledge of UI/UX best practices, responsive design, and branding alignment.
Familiarity with SEO, site performance optimization, and website security.
Understanding of data security, GDPR/CCPA compliance, and IT governance.

Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Relevant Zoho or WordPress certifications a plus.
