Job Overview

R&B Framing Inc., a construction company based in California, is seeking a reliable and experienced outsourced bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial records and maintain accurate accounting for our projects. The ideal candidate has experience working with construction companies and understands job costing, project tracking, and contractor accounting workflows.

This is a remote / outsourced position with flexible hours but consistent weekly responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Record and categorize all financial transactions

Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly

Track project expenses and assist with job costing

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable tracking

Review invoices and verify expenses against project budgets

Prepare monthly financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with collections tracking

Maintain organized financial records for tax preparation

Coordinate with company management regarding financial status

Ensure books remain accurate and up-to-date at all times

Preferred Experience

3+ years of bookkeeping experience

Experience working with construction companies

Strong understanding of job costing and project accounting

Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Buildertrend, or similar)

Ability to manage multiple projects and expenses accurately

Strong attention to detail and organization
