Job Title: Civil/Structural Engineer – Training in Tekla Structures, STAAD.Pro, and Civil 3D

I am seeking a qualified Civil or Structural Engineer to provide one-on-one remote training and practical mentorship in Tekla Structures, STAAD.Pro, and Autodesk Civil 3D. The objective is to develop strong practical skills in structural modelling, structural analysis, and civil engineering design workflows.

Scope of Training:

STAAD.Pro

- Structural modelling and project setup
- Load application (dead, live, wind, etc.)
- Running structural analysis
- Interpreting analysis results
- Basic structural design checks using relevant codes

Tekla Structures

- Structural modelling workflow
- Modelling beams, columns, connections, and foundations
- Model organisation and detailing
- Generation of general arrangement drawings and fabrication drawings
- Best practices for structural modelling and detailing

Civil 3D

- Surface creation and terrain modelling
- Road alignment and profile design
- Corridor modelling basics
- Site grading and earthwork calculations
- Preparation of civil engineering drawings and layouts

Training Format

- Remote sessions using screen sharing
- Practical exercises with step-by-step guidance
- Review of assignments and feedback
- Approximately 2–4 hours per week depending on availability

Requirements

- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Strong experience with Tekla Structures, STAAD.Pro, and Autodesk Civil 3D
- Experience in structural design or civil engineering projects
- Ability to explain concepts clearly and provide practical demonstrations
- Good English communication skills

Engagement Type:
Freelance / hourly contract

Location:
Remote (candidates from the Philippines or other regions with strong CAD/engineering expertise are welcome)

Objective:
The goal of this engagement is to develop practical engineering software skills so the trainee can independently perform structural analysis, structural modelling, and civil engineering design work using Tekla Structures, STAAD.Pro, and Civil 3D.
