Contracts, Trademark and Copyright Paralegal

Part-Time Trademark & Contracts Paralegal (Remote)
We are a U.S.-based boutique law firm seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented paralegal to assist with trademark matters and contract support.
This is an execution-focused role. You will be expected to manage tasks independently, maintain accuracy, and help move legal matters forward with minimal supervision.
This position is part-time (10–20 hours per week) with potential for long-term collaboration.

Responsibilities
Trademark Support
• Conduct trademark clearance searches
• Draft structured trademark clearance summaries and opinion drafts
• Prepare and organize USPTO trademark applications
• Draft responses to Office Actions (under attorney supervision)
• Monitor trademark deadlines and docket important dates
• Maintain accurate records for trademark filings and registrations

Contract Support
• Draft and review basic contracts (NDAs, service agreements, licensing agreements, etc.)
• Assist with contract templates and revisions
• Organize and track executed agreements
• Identify potential issues or missing provisions for attorney review

What Success Looks Like
• Drafts are organized, clear, and require minimal editing
• Deadlines are tracked accurately and proactively
• Matters move forward without repeated reminders
• Communication is clear and responsive during working hours

Requirements
• 2+ years experience working with U.S. trademark matters or intellectual property
• Experience drafting legal documents and conducting legal research
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written English
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Ability to respond during agreed working hours
Experience with USPTO trademark processes is strongly preferred.

Working Hours
• Part-time: approximately 10–20 hours per week
• Must be responsive during agreed work hours
