Virtual Assistant for Gemstone & Jewelry E-commerce Store (Shopify & Social Media)

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant (VA) to support our growing gemstone and jewelry e-commerce business. Our company will start sells natural opals, gemstones, and jewelry through Shopify, Instagram, and other online platforms.



The ideal candidate should have experience in product listing, social media management, and basic e-commerce operations.



This role requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities


Product Listing & Store Management

Upload new products to Shopify

Write product descriptions for opal, gemstones, and jewelry

Add product photos and optimize images

Organize collections and categories

Update pricing and inventory



Social Media Management

Post products on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok

Create captions and hashtags

Schedule posts and reels

Reply to customer messages and comments



Content & Marketing Support

Create simple product graphics using Canva

Assist with email marketing

Research trending jewelry content

Help prepare promotions or sales campaigns



Administrative Tasks

Basic data entry

Spreadsheet updates

Order tracking assistance

Customer support messages

Required Qualifications
Experience working as a Virtual Assistant for e-commerce

Experience with Shopify product listings

Basic knowledge of Instagram marketing

Good English writing and communication skills

Experience with Canva or similar design tools

Strong attention to detail

Reliable internet connection

Ability to meet deadlines

Preferred (Bonus Skills)
