JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description: Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d)

Employment Type: Full-time / part-time

About the Role

We are a fast-growing premium consumer goods brand in the pet sector, selling across Europe and the US via Amazon FBA, Shopify, and retail. To support rapid expansion, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of end-to-end supply chain operations — from production planning to logistics, warehousing, and Amazon FBA fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

A ) Supply Chain Planning & Control

Develop and manage demand forecasts, production schedules, and safety stock levels.

Track lead times, coordinate production runs, and ensure on-time deliveries.

Maintain and optimize supply chain KPIs (inventory turnover, service levels, working capital).

B) Amazon FBA Operations

Manage FBA shipments, replenishment planning, and inventory allocation across EU, UK, and US marketplaces.

Oversee inbound processes including carton/pallet prep, labeling, and compliance.

Monitor storage utilization, avoid overstocking/understocking, and minimize long-term storage fees.

C) Logistics & Warehousing

Coordinate international freight (air, sea, truck) and customs clearance.

Manage relationships with 3PL providers across multiple regions.

Track and control 3PL storage costs, service levels, and reporting accuracy.

D) Process Optimization & Systems

Implement and maintain tools for demand planning, inventory visibility, and operational efficiency.

Continuously improve processes to reduce costs and streamline workflows.

Support finance with stock-related cash flow planning and reporting.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.

2+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in consumer goods, food, or supplements.

Proven track record with Amazon FBA inventory and shipment management (EU/UK/US).

Strong knowledge of international logistics, Incoterms, and customs processes.

Hands-on experience with ERP/inventory systems (e.g., VenturyOne).

Analytical mindset with excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Fluent in English; German is a strong plus.
