JOB OVERVIEW

We are a North American company looking for a highly organized and proactive Production Coordinator to serve as the key link between our team and our supplier network across China and Asia. This is a fully remote position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates with precision, and takes ownership of outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
You will act as the primary point of contact for suppliers in China and across Asia, ensuring that all product requirements, specifications, and timelines are clearly understood and accurately communicated from day one. This means reviewing briefs thoroughly, asking the right questions before work begins, and following up consistently until deliverables meet expectations.
You will source new suppliers when needed — researching options, requesting quotes, vetting capabilities, and presenting recommendations with clear comparisons. You will also manage logistics coordination, including tracking shipments, resolving delays, and keeping all parties informed on status.

Requirements
You have at least 2–3 years of experience in production coordination, supply chain, procurement, or a related role, ideally with exposure to Chinese or Asian suppliers. You are comfortable communicating with suppliers via WeChat, WhatsApp, email, and other platforms commonly used in the region.
Your written and spoken English is strong — you can summarize complex situations clearly and write professional emails without needing much editing. You are detail-oriented and have a track record of catching mistakes before they become problems.
You are self-directed and don't need to be chased to follow up. You understand that in production, silence is not the same as progress, and you communicate proactively when something is at risk.
Proficiency with tools like Google Workspace, Excel or Google Sheets, and project tracking tools (Trello, Notion, Asana, or similar) is expected.
Work Schedule
This role requires availability from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM EST daily for sync ups with North American team. Outside of that window, you manage your own schedule as long as deliverables and response times are met. Supplier communication often spans time zones across Asia, so flexibility is part of the role.
