We’re looking for an advanced-level AI Automation & Technical VA to build, deploy, and maintain n8n workflows and AI agents for our client’s internal operations and client-facing implementations.
This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role requiring strong technical execution, independent problem-solving, and the ability to work across EST, CST, MST, PST, CET, or GMT time zones.
The ideal candidate is proactive, self-directed, and genuinely excited about AI systems and automation.
Main Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automation workflows in n8n (cloud or self-hosted).
- Deploy and configure AI Acquisition’s pre-built AI agents (Cold
- Integrate AI agents with CRMs, lead sources, and communication tools.
- Connect and manage API integrations using webhooks and HTTP requests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve broken or underperforming workflows within defined response windows.
- Document all completed builds and create structured SOPs for client handoffs.
- Provide weekly build progress updates to the business owner.
- Attend weekly or bi-weekly AI Acquisition training sessions and apply new learnings to active workflows (non-negotiable requirement).
- Continuously improve workflow reliability, structure, and system performance.
Essential Qualifications / Skills (Must-Haves):
- Advanced hands-on experience building workflows in n8n (cloud or self-hosted).
- Experience deploying or building AI agents (LLM-based, tool-calling, multi-step logic).
- Strong API literacy — comfortable reading documentation and connecting REST APIs via webhooks or HTTP nodes.
- CRM integration experience (GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and debug broken workflows.
- Strong async communication and documentation habits.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new platforms quickly and commit to ongoing structured training.
- Experience with or ability to rapidly learn the AI Acquisition platform.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves):
- Experience with Make (Integromat) or Zapier in addition to n8n.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering and AI agent architecture patterns.
- Familiarity with OpenAI, Anthropic, or other LLM APIs.
- Basic JavaScript or Python knowledge for custom n8n function nodes.
- Prior experience supporting a small agency or consultant serving multiple clients.
KPIs / Success Measures:
- Consistent weekly progress on active builds with structured updates.
- Low workflow error and failure rate across all deployed automations.
- Critical workflow issues resolved within 24 hours; non-critical within 72 hours.
- Successful client integrations completed with minimal rework.
- All completed workflows documented with SOPs within 48 hours of deployment.
- Positive client satisfaction reported to the business owner.
- Completion of AI Acquisition training modules with visible application to live systems.

Compensation & Details
- $1,200 – $2,000 per month (based on experience), with openness to performance incentives tied to successful client implementations.
