JOB OVERVIEW

De La Pena Insurance Solutions
$7–$8/hour | Full-Time | Remote | Long-Term Only | 8:30 to 5:30 PM CST

We are hiring a full-time Contracting & Licensing Specialist to support backend
operations for our insurance agency.
This is a precision-based role. Small mistakes cause carrier delays, rejected contracts,
and commission issues. We need someone who operates with urgency, accuracy, and
ownership.
We are a driven, fast-moving team. If you are passive, slow to respond, juggling multiple
jobs, or need constant reminders, this will not be a fit.

Core Responsibilities
You will assist our Contracting & Licensing Manager with:
- Sending structured welcome emails to new downline agents
- Setting up SureLC accounts
- Sending carrier contracts through SureLC and agency portals
- Ensuring release forms are completed correctly (Aetna, Anthem, etc.)
- Updating contracting trackers for downlines and LOAs
- Tracking carrier statuses (Requested, Sent, Approved)
- Updating resident and non-resident licenses of the agency, the owner, and our Lines of Authority (LOA) agents
- Prefilling carrier PDF applications accurately
- Keeping documentation organized and complete

This is backend operational work that requires extreme attention to detail

Non-Negotiables
You must:
- Have high attention to detail (errors are not acceptable in this role)
- Meet deadlines consistently
- Proactively provide updates without being chased
- Work during your scheduled hours and be fully available
- Not be working multiple full-time jobs or juggling several clients
- Communicate clearly and promptly

If you disappear during work hours, miss deadlines, or require repeated follow-ups, this will not work.

What We’re Looking For
- Someone who double-checks their work before submitting
- Someone who flags problems early instead of hiding them
- Someone who moves quickly but accurately
- Someone who takes ownership instead of making excuses
- Someone who wants long-term stability and growth

Bonus:
- Experience with insurance contracting
- Familiarity with SureLC
- Experience tracking compliance or licenses

This Is NOT for You If:
- You are managing multiple clients
- You frequently miss deadlines
- You wait to be told what to do
- You struggle to communicate updates
- You treat remote work casually

Application Requirements
To be considered, you must answer all questions in detail via a recorded video on Loom
or any platform:
1. Describe a time you missed a deadline. What happened and what did you
change afterward?
2. What steps do you personally take to ensure you do not make small errors in
documentation?
3. If you were given 10 contracts to send out by the end of day and 3 were missing
documents, what would you do?
4. How do you ensure your manager never has to chase you for updates?

We are building a serious team. If you are disciplined, detail-oriented, and ready to be
fully committed during scheduled hours, apply.

If you are looking for flexible side income or something temporary, this role is not for you.

Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
