Wordpress Developer

DMN8 Partners is seeking a highly skilled and reliable WordPress Developer based in the Philippines to join our team. This role is focused on the critical "under-the-hood" health of our web properties. If you are obsessed with Core Web Vitals, site hardening, and the nuances of the Divi ecosystem, we want to talk to you.

Role Overview
Location: Remote (Philippines-based).

Hours: Part-time (20 hours per week).

Schedule: Flexible daily task completion (Mon–Fri), but must be available for emergencies during US Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience.

Primary Responsibilities
Your main objective is to ensure our websites are fast, secure, and running without a hitch.

Speed & Performance Optimization: Audit and improve load times, optimize images, manage caching layers, and ensure high scores on Google PageSpeed Insights.

Security Management: Proactive monitoring, malware scanning, and implementing security best practices to prevent vulnerabilities.

Divi Mastery: Maintain and troubleshoot sites built on the Divi theme/builder, ensuring design integrity while optimizing for performance.

Plugin Management: Responsible for updating, auditing, and vetting plugins. You should know when a plugin is necessary and when it's just "bloat."

Daily Maintenance: Execute a daily checklist of site health tasks to ensure 100% uptime and functionality.

Requirements & Qualifications
Expert WordPress Knowledge: Deep understanding of the WP core, database optimization, and file structure.

Divi Power User: You must have extensive experience working with the Divi theme and builder.

Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of HTML/CSS is highly preferred to make manual adjustments when builders fall short.

Availability: While you manage your own hours, you must be available to respond to emergency "site down" or critical security alerts within 2 hours during EST business hours.

Reliability: Proven ability to manage a daily task list independently without constant oversight.
