JOB OVERVIEW

About SEO Brothers
We're a team of SEO enthusiasts who are curious, hardworking, and passionate about seeing results. For over ten years, we've been helping digital agencies across North America scale their SEO offering without having to hire in-house, delivering high-quality, white label campaigns under our partners' brands. From technical optimisation and content publishing to link acquisition and strategic quarterly planning, we own the full scope of SEO so our partners can focus on growing their business.
Headquartered in Nova Scotia, Canada, we're fully remote with tea ---------- mbers across multiple countries. We're growing again, and we'd love for you to consider us for the next phase of your career.

About the Role
This is a hands-on technical role at the core of how we deliver results for our partners and their clients. You'll be responsible for the technical health of websites across our campaign portfolio, diagnosing crawl issues, improving site performance, implementing schema, and making sure every site we work on is set up to rank. You'll also play an active role in publishing and managing content across client sites, ensuring every piece goes live correctly, is properly optimised, and is free of issues.
You'll work closely with our campaign managers and SEO strategists. When something is broken, people will look to you. When a site migration is on the horizon, you'll be the one leading it. This is a role for someone who takes ownership seriously.

What You'll Do
Conduct technical SEO audits as part of campaign onboarding and ongoing quarterly planning
Own crawlability, indexation, site architecture, and internal linking across client campaigns
Publish, format, and QA content across client WordPress sites, including blog posts, landing pages, geo pages, and on-page optimisation updates
Implement and QA structured data and schema markup across all page types
Optimise Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) and overall page experience signals
Manage XML sitemaps, hreflang, robots.txt, and canonical tag strategies
Lead site migrations, redirect management, and URL restructuring projects
Monitor performance via Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog
Identify and resolve duplicate content, crawl waste, and thin content issues across a diverse client portfolio
Stay current with algorithm updates and adjust strategies proactively

What We're Looking For
You know technical SEO well, not just in theory, but in practice. You've spent real time in the weeds of crawl data, page speed reports, and WordPress backends, and you're comfortable there. You're the kind of person who, if they say they're going to fix something, actually fixes it.
You're detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture. You can look at a site audit and know what matters, what doesn't, and what needs to be communicated to the campaign team. You're not waiting to be told what to do next; you're already looking ahead.

What You Must Have
3–6 years of hands-on technical SEO experience, ideally in an agency or white label environment
Deep proficiency with WordPress, including content publishing workflows, Yoast/RankMath, page builders, theme architecture, and custom post types. Most of our client sites run on WordPress
Solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO. You can read source code, identify rendering issues, and flag problems without needing a developer to translate
Comfortable publishing and formatting content in CMS environments with a sharp eye for detail, including headings, internal links, meta data, image alt text, and page structure
Familiarity with server-side concepts: HTTP status codes, .htaccess, server logs, CDN configuration
Confident using Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Ahrefs, SEMrush, GSC, and Lighthouse
Strong written communication that is clear, professional, and easy to follow when handing off findings to the rest of the team

What Will Give You an Edge
Agency experience, either in technical SEO fulfillment or a similar delivery role
Exposure to local SEO campaigns or multi-location businesses, a core client type for us
Familiarity with GA4, Google Search Console, and AgencyAnalytics
Experience with eCommerce SEO (WooCommerce, Shopify)
Ability to write basic scripts in Python or JavaScript for SEO automation
ClickUp or comparable PM software experience
