Harvest AF Financial Consulting is a Faith based U.S.-tax advisory firm that helps entrepreneurs, consultants, and small business owners legally reduce their taxes and build long-term financial strategies.

Our firm focuses on tax planning, strategy, and advisory, not just tax preparation.

We work with clients across the United States and frequently help them implement strategies such as:

• S-Corporation optimization
• retirement tax strategies
• real estate tax strategies
• depreciation planning
• business deduction optimization
• entity structuring

We are expanding our tax department and are looking for a **strong U.S. tax professional who can become a key member of our team.**

Important — Trial Period

This role begins as a paid trial engagement (30–60 days).

The purpose of the trial is to ensure the role is a good fit for both sides.

If the candidate demonstrates strong technical ability, communication, and reliability during the trial period, the position will transition into a long-term full-time role with our firm.

We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company and help build the tax department over time.

The Role

This is not a basic tax preparation role.

This position will work closely with the founder to help analyze tax returns, identify tax planning opportunities, and support advisory work.

Responsibilities include:

• reviewing U.S. tax returns (1040, 1120S, 1065)
• analyzing Schedule C businesses and real estate activity
• identifying potential tax planning opportunities
• researching IRS tax rules and tax strategies
• assisting with tax projections and planning analysis
• reviewing depreciation schedules
• supporting tax strategy discussions before client meetings
• helping improve internal tax workflows and systems

Over time, this person may also assist in training junior preparers as the department grows.

Required Experience

Applicants must have real experience working with U.S. tax returns.

Strong candidates typically have experience with:

• Form 1040
• Schedule C
• Schedule E
• Form 1120S
• Form 1065
• depreciation schedules
• business deductions

Experience working with a U.S. CPA firm or U.S. tax firm is highly preferred.


Preferred Credentials

Strong candidates may have one or more of the following:

• CPA (Philippines)
• Enrolled Agent (EA)
• EA candidate
• several years working with U.S. CPA firms


Software Experience

Experience with U.S. tax software such as:

• ProConnect
• ProSeries
• Drake
• UltraTax
• Lacerte
• TaxSlayer

Experience with QuickBooks Online and Excel is also helpful.

Communication Skills

Because this role may eventually assist with client conversations, candidates must have:

• strong spoken English
• professional communication skills
• ability to explain financial concepts clearly
