JOB OVERVIEW

REMOTE VIRTUAL LEGAL ASSISTANT
US PERSONAL INJURY LAW FIRM (EASTERN TIME)

Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday–Friday
Compensation: $8–10/hour based on experience and trial performance
Start Date: Within 2–4 weeks (paid trial required)

THE OPPORTUNITY
We are a fast-growing U.S.-based personal injury law firm seeking a focused, reliable, and highly organized Virtual Legal Assistant to support our intake and case management operations.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, communicates confidently with U.S. clients, and understands the urgency and sensitivity involved in injury cases. You will be a key part of ensuring potential and active clients receive clear communication, timely follow-up, and a professional experience from first contact through case progression.

THE ROLE
Initial Responsibilities:
• Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls and inquiries
• Conduct client intake using structured questionnaires
• Schedule consultations and send calendar confirmations
• Organize and manage email inboxes
• Review upcoming calendars to ensure files are complete prior to meetings
• Prepare intake summaries for attorney review
• Send follow-up communications to prospective and active clients
• Coordinate scheduling links and reminders

Additional Responsibilities May Include:
• Drafting client correspondence
• Communicating with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and other legal offices
• Organizing digital case files
• Updating CRM systems
• Assisting with document preparation
• Supporting workflow automations

TOOLS YOU WILL USE
Microsoft Office
Zoom
Google Workspace
CRM / Case Management Software
Zoom Phone or similar VOIP system

Experience with MyCase and Case Status.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 1 year experience working with a U.S.-based law firm (personal injury experience preferred)
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Comfortable speaking with U.S. clients by phone
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Able to work EST hours consistently
• Strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism
• Self-motivated and able to work without micromanagement
