About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Home Care Back Office Support professional to assist with daily administrative and operational functions within a Home Care setting. This role plays a key part in supporting care delivery by coordinating caregiver schedules, assisting with recruitment efforts, and helping maintain continuity of client services.
This position is strictly for candidates with prior Home Care or Home Health agency operations experience. Applicants without direct industry experience will not be considered. Experience in caregiver scheduling and recruitment within a Home Care or Home Health agency is required and considered a significant advantage.
We are specifically looking for professionals who understand the fast-paced nature of Home Care operations, compliance requirements, and caregiver coordination workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Support
Assist with the coordination of client service requests
Maintain accurate caregiver and client records
Communicate with field staff regarding assignments and schedule updates
Monitor active schedules and report coverage gaps
Support onboarding documentation and compliance tracking
Scheduling
Coordinate caregiver schedules based on client needs
Arrange shift coverage for call-offs or new cases
Confirm assignments and communicate scheduling updates
Track attendance and report missed visits or tardiness
Maintain scheduling system accuracy
Recruiting Support
Assist in sourcing caregiver applicants
Coordinate applicant interviews
Support the onboarding documentation process
Maintain applicant tracking records
Assist with job posting updates as needed
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Required: Prior experience working in a Home Care or Home Health agency (operations, scheduling, or staffing capacity)
Proven experience in caregiver scheduling required
Experience in recruiting or onboarding support preferred
Prior administrative or staffing experience preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Basic proficiency in office software systems

This position may involve access to confidential client information and requires adherence to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy and Security Rules. All employees must comply with agency confidentiality policies and complete required training upon hire.
