JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced LinkedIn Social Media Coordinator to manage and grow our professional presence within the academia and education sector.

This is not an entry level role. We are only considering candidates with proven LinkedIn experience. We also require the person to have a full undergraduate degree (not an associate degree) and a master's degree.

You will use AI tools such as ChatGPT to generate structured post drafts, then professionally edit and refine them into strong, authoritative LinkedIn content suitable for academics, researchers, and international families.

Excellent written English and strong editing ability are essential. You must be able to transform AI generated drafts into polished, credible professional content.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Assisted LinkedIn Content Writing:
Use AI tools to generate first draft LinkedIn posts based on internal strategy and topic guidelines.
Edit and refine drafts into high level, authoritative content with strong structure and clarity.
Publish 3 to 5 high quality LinkedIn posts per week focused on higher education, university admissions (UK and US), research strategy, psychology, and academic consulting.

LinkedIn Strategy and Profile Management:
Maintain and optimize founder and company LinkedIn profiles to reflect intellectual leadership.
Advise on positioning and growth strategy based on real LinkedIn platform experience.

LinkedIn Contact Management and Outreach:
Execute strategic connection campaigns targeting professors, academics, school leaders, and education partners.
Manage professional outreach conversations and track response rates.
Maintain structured CRM tracking in Notion or spreadsheets.

Engagement and Network Growth:
Engage with relevant academic and professional content to increase visibility and authority.

Performance Tracking:
Track weekly metrics including impressions, engagement rates, connection growth, response rates, and qualified leads.
Submit structured weekly reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven LinkedIn Experience Required:
You must have prior experience managing LinkedIn accounts or running LinkedIn outreach campaigns.
Please be prepared to provide links to LinkedIn profiles or posts you have personally managed.

Advanced English Writing and Editing Skills:
Ability to elevate AI generated drafts into strong, persuasive, and credible professional content.

AI Tool Proficiency:
Comfortable using ChatGPT or similar tools to generate and refine structured drafts.

Understanding of Academia or Education Industry:
Strong preference for candidates familiar with universities, research culture, or admissions consulting.

Highly Organized and Process Driven:
Comfortable following SOPs and maintaining structured systems.

Application Instructions

To apply, answer the following 5 questions:

Share one LinkedIn post you personally wrote that performed well. Include the topic, approximate impressions, and why you believe it performed well.

Describe one LinkedIn outreach campaign you managed. What was the acceptance rate of connection requests, and what messaging structure did you use?

Describe a time when a LinkedIn post you wrote underperformed. What do you believe caused it, and what specific changes did you make afterward?

Do you have a full undergraduate degree (not an associate degree) and a Master's degree?

Although AI use is fine at work, but if you use AI to answer these questions, your application will be automatically unsuccessful.

Organise from most to least what is important to you at work: money, work-life balance, job stability, personal growth and respect.
