Video editor and post production processor

Core Responsibilities

1. Video Editing & Post Production

Each episode will require:
Audio cleanup and processing (EQ, compression, noise reduction)
Clear, balanced dialogue
Removal of distractions (dead space, obvious flubs when directed)
Add intro sequence
Add sponsor segment
Add outro if provided
Color correction and grading (natural, consistent skin tones)
Remove unusable clips (especially out-of-focus shots)
If a speaker is out of focus ? use the wide/broad camera angle instead
Clean transitions between camera angles

Export optimized video for:
YouTube
Social clips (if requested)
Professional polish is required. No amateur audio. No inconsistent color. No distracting edits.

2. Audio Podcast Version

For each episode:
Export audio-only version
Proper loudness normalization for podcast platforms
Add intro/sponsor tags as required
Prepare MP3 or WAV in correct distribution format
Upload to podcast hosting platform (details provided).

3. Episode Webpage Creation

For each episode, create and publish a webpage including:
Embedded video
Embedded audio
Episode title
Episode description (light formatting)
Guest bio (if provided)
Sponsor section
SEO-friendly formatting
Proper tagging and categories
Attention to layout consistency is critical.

Required Skills
Advanced knowledge of video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
Strong audio processing capability (clear vocal dialogue is non-negotiable)
Basic color grading competency
Experience switching multi-camera footage
Familiarity with podcast publishing workflows
Website publishing experience (WordPress preferred)
Ability to follow structure and maintain consistency

We are selecting 5 applicants for a paid editing trial.
Each selected applicant will receive:
One short podcast segment (raw footage)
Intro + sponsor assets
Basic publishing instructions
Tryout Requirements
You must:
Adjust color to clean, natural tone
Process audio to professional clarity
Add intro and sponsor
Remove any out-of-focus clips of the speaker
If the primary camera is out of focus, use the wide camera angle

Deliver:
Final video file
Audio-only version
Draft webpage layout (text mockup is acceptable)
Payment: $30 upon completion
We are evaluating:
