Accounting & Reconciliation Specialist (Part-Time)

Hi! I'm looking for a detail-oriented accounting professional to help me with monthly bookkeeping and reconciliation. You will be in charge of reconciliating all transactions, keeping a crystal clean paper trail, and handle reporting. This is a recurring, part-time role — heaviest at month-end. I am not good at Accounting, and you will lead all Accounting decisions - you must be a very strong accountant.

What you'll be doing:

Reconciling and tracing transactions across Odoo, Stripe, and bank (Mercury)
Tracing money movement end-to-end: Stripe payouts ? bank deposits ? Odoo records
Flagging discrepancies and helping resolve them
Assisting with monthly financial reports

What I'm looking for:

Strong understanding of reconciliation, accounting, and double-entry bookkeeping
Experience working with Odoo Accounting (this is a must)
Familiarity with Stripe and/or Mercury is a big plus
High attention to detail — you catch things others miss
Comfortable working independently with minimal hand-holding

Nice to have:

Experience reconciling physical goods products
CPA or accounting degree preferred but not required

This is a part-time role, roughly 10–20 hours per month (more at month-end close). Long-term engagement preferred.
