We’re looking for a skilled Video Editor to take ownership of YouTube long-form content, including educational videos and vlogs, while also supporting short-form clips for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
This role is ideal for someone who understands YouTube retention, pacing, and storytelling, not just technical editing. You’ll be working with high-impact content in the entrepreneurship, ecommerce, and personal brand space.
Responsibilities:
Long-Form YouTube Editing (Primary Focus)
Edit long-form YouTube videos (10–45 minutes) with strong pacing and flow
Create engaging hooks, pattern interrupts, and clean transitions to maximize retention
Edit vlog-style content while maintaining authenticity and energy
Add b-roll, screen recordings, text overlays, and light motion graphics where appropriate
Clean up audio, remove filler, and improve overall production quality
Short-Form Support (Secondary Focus)
Repurpose long-form content into short-form clips (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)
Collaborate on identifying
Must-Have Skills:
Strong experience editing YouTube long-form content (ideally with experience working on Personal Brands)
Excellent sense of pacing, storytelling, and viewer retention
Proficiency in editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve)
Strong audio cleanup skills (noise reduction, leveling, clarity)
