We’re an emerging healthy food brand scaling quickly in e-commerce and paid media, and we’re looking for a highly reliable, detail-oriented UGC Video Editor with experience creating high-converting META ads.
This role will primarily focus on UGC-style performance ads, though some projects may include mixed creative styles (storytelling, educational, and light brand-forward edits).
You’ll work closely with our Creative Strategist and Senior Video Editor to produce engaging, performance-driven ads at scale. This is ideal for someone who understands direct response marketing and can move quickly without sacrificing quality.
We move quite fast paced, but we do not cut corners.
This role starts part-time. Hours may vary initially but can grow over time, with the opportunity to become full-time for the right person.
Compensation is based on experience.
What You’ll Do:
Edit high-performing video ads for META
Focus primarily on:
UGC-style ads
Direct response and hook-driven creatives
Occasionally edit:
Storytelling & educational content
Lifestyle & brand-forward creatives
Light animation (bonus)
Produce approximately listed goal of videos per week (depending on hours/workload)
Most ads are 30–90 seconds (under 2 minutes)
Follow creative briefs and scripts precisely
Ensure every visual aligns with the script and message (no mismatched scenes)
Collaborate weekly with the creative team to review performance and iterate
Maintain strong pacing, hooks, and clarity throughout each edit
Deliver work that requires minimal revisions
Quality Standards (Extremely Important)
We care deeply about attention to detail. Before submitting work, you are expected to double- or triple-check everything.
This includes:
Correct spelling and captions (no typos from the script)
Clean cuts and transitions
Proper pacing and scroll-stopping hooks
Background music properly leveled or muted when needed
Correct clip selection that matches the script’s message
Proper video length (no extra black frames or export errors)
Simple, easily catchable mistakes should not make it to review.
While occasional mistakes happen, repeated careless errors are not acceptable.
Speed matters, but rushing at the expense of quality is not okay.
Work Style & Expectations
Part-time role to start (hours may vary week to week)
Opportunity to grow into full-time
Must overlap with U.S. work hours (EST) for communication
For example:
M - F 3AM-11AM, so there is an overlap between us for communication.
Must be able to follow direction carefully and execute feedback fully
Must complete all requested revisions in one pass (not partial fixes)
